The Skinpack by Alexir is a skin-tight, high barrier cardboard tray and is the latest member of the Halopack®️family, using the same technology and sharing the same genetic make-up. The skinpack is a shallow pack format and is especially suitable for the chilled market sectors. It is rigid and robust and is compatible with existing skinning machines. Furthermore it is printable inside and out, creating a high quality fresh perception for the consumer.
The Halopack®️ was the first MAP card tray to be market-proven in the UK with in excess of 50M being produced.
The Stackpack by Alexir is a range of cardboard punnets that has been designed specifically for the fresh produce market and sized for volumes of 125g, 250g and 500g. The punnets have steep sides which allow for a high volumetric fill with a small footprint. The punnets are designed and formed with double flanges which vastly improve the robustness and rigidity of the pack. The rigidity of the pack enables industry standard film sealing and a taut film lid, making it easy to stack on shelf. The packs can be supplied with or without vents and webbed corners, according to customer requirements. The Stackpack has a patent pending and is suitable to replace the PET tray in different types of boards depending on barrier needs.
