With our wide range of multiple services,
we are able to design, develop and deliver
complex packaging projects across numerous
substrates and formats for medium
and premium-tiered food brands.
In some instances a packaging project will involve multiple touchpoints across many suppliers. These can include Creative Agencies, Packaging Design Agencies, Carton Manufacturers, Global Packaging Suppliers and Co-Packers. This is especially true if the end-product consists of several packaging components in many different materials. This could take the form of a luxury gift item or a premium advent calendar.
Dealing with numerous suppliers is further compounded by managing the project timelines with different delivery dates, brand management and colour consistency, logistics and legalities, charges for stock-holding and prototyping across continents. Waiting weeks for samples greatly impacts project timelines, with small revisions and uncertainty around the finished look of the product holding up the design process.
In addition, companies will often have limited internal co-packing facilities due to capacity and investment constraints, costly set-ups and limited warehousing. This inevitably results in a lack of innovation and a slow speed-to-market.
We can remove all the challenges related to dealing with multiple suppliers and manufacturers, leaving our customers to focus their time and resources on other business.
We keep it simple for you, with one point of contact, and manage the complexities ourselves.
Our creative studio of structural and graphic designers will scope the market and visualise a range of sketched concepts for the customer to review. Prototypes are created using solid, rigid and corrugated board and, if any components are yet to be manufactured, we will make them on our 3D printer for speed-to-market.
We have a state-of-the-art carton conversion site where we manufacture more than 350m cartons a year for the FMCG markets. For our complex packaging projects, all solid board cartons, trays, sleeves or promotional materials will be printed, cut and creased here, in-house, in both low and high volumes.
On-site we have a team of packaging buyers who can source and deliver packaging materials that we do not manufacture ourselves. With this facility in place, we can provide our customers with all their packaging requirements throughout the entire supply chain.
We have a sister manufacturing site dedicated to the filling, blending and packing of dried foods into many pack formats such as pots, pouches, sachets and cartons. This is often the last piece of the jigsaw puzzle for our customers who need a full packaging solution for their products.
There are occasions when brands and retailers will need a specialised product development team to create luxury gifts. At Alexir Brands, the team can work with you to develop and deliver luxury gifting, working in collaboration with numerous brands and suppliers.
