Some exciting things have been happening over the past few months on both our sites in Edenbridge and Uckfield. Read the snippets below to find out about the projects from our different divisions.
Last year we worked with Dragonfly Tea to create a limited-edition tea carton for their collaboration with JARV IS… frontman Jarvis Cocker.
To celebrate the release of JARV IS’s new album ‘Beyond the Pale’, the team at Dragonfly created a bespoke infusion called ‘JARV IS… Peppermint Jungle’, inspired by a lyric in one of his songs.
The brief outlined that the tea carton needed to be recyclable and feature specially designed artwork. Our Litho department completed the one-off promotion with thousands of tea cartons being delivered on time to the customer.
Pharmacare approached the Alexir Partnership to source, print and pack a compostable pouch with a re-seal strip for their Naturopathica Vegan Life Range.
To ensure a successful completion of the project, three of our divisions were involved. Alexir International and Alexir Packaging had to source, print and deliver 100k units of these pre-formed compostable pouches, while Alexir Co-Packers packed the health tablets into the pouches.
All elements of the packaging had to be environmentally-friendly and deliverable within a tight deadline. Alexir International successfully sourced completely industrially compostable material, including the re-seal strip. This resulted in the project being delivered on time and in full as requested.
Recently our Digital department worked with Exmoor Tea to create these vibrant tea cartons.
The team behind Exmoor Tea believe in producing tea that is better for the environment. Thus, it was important that all packaging followed this brief too. Our Digital department transformed Exmoor Tea’s designs and ideas to create these stunning tea cartons that are plastic-free and recyclable.
The project was a success with Exmoor Tea commenting:
“We approached Alexir with our design, and they guided us through the process so that we could make an informed decision on the packaging. We were delighted with the result and the level of customer service that we received”.
