The Packaging industry is a major part of the UK’s infrastructure and is in the top ten of the manufacturing industries. It has an annual turnover of £12 billion and employs 85,000 people. There are many roles in a packaging company but within the Design department there is a fundamental need for cardboard engineers and graphic designers. We are a local business with two sites in Kent and Sussex and we are always looking for young people to join us in our food packaging industry. Many children will go on to take Design and Technology at secondary school and will hopefully continue this through to university.
